"Celebrating its 14th year, this is the only international meet of its kind annually held in "Hollywood, California", the entertainment capital of the world. Contestants from the USA and 50 countries are invited to compete for the "GOLD" in dancing, singing, modeling, acting, instrumentalist and variety. Over 100 persons from the entertainment industry (agents, managers, producers, casting directors, record label reps) are invited to judge, conduct educational seminars and cast during the jam-packed week of activities. Hello!

My name is Lauren Gabourel. I am an aspiring actress and model. I was recently selected to represent the USA at the World Championship of Performing Arts in Hollywood, California. It is like the Olympics for performing arts!

I have been preparing for this opportunity for four years. I have attended many performing arts programs, including: Columbia College in Chicago, ASU Herberger Center for the Arts, Valley Youth Theater, Phoenix Children's Chorus, and ASA, a school for the Arts. I act, sing and play three instruments: the guitar, piano and violin. I am ready to bring home the GOLD!

But, to reach my goal of becoming an actress and model, I need your support. I am seeking donations for the entrance fee and travel expenses. As with the (sports) Olympics, each contestant relies heavily on sponsorships to cover their expenses.
